Newcomer Services
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC):
Adult newcomers, 18 years and older, Landed Immigrants of Canada and Convention Refugees; and holders of appropriate Authorizations or Minister's Permits can make an appointment to be assessed for English as a Second Language Proficiency.Once your assessment is finished you will be referred to an appropriate training program to learn English language skills.

Newcomer Information Services
Hari Ghimire, our Newcomer Information Specialist will be assisting Newcomers here at the Rexdale Youth Resource Centre every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., starting in January 2009. Hari will be able to provide service to Newcomers in English, Nepalese, Hindi, Urdu and Japanese.Come in and find out about services and resources in our community for Newcomers. Feel free to come in while Hari is here, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., or book an appointment by calling (416) 741-8714.
